Banana Sun Burn Aid
Banana face masks will provide relief and aid for sun burnt skin. The flesh of the banana is full of antioxidants which have soothing properties. Banana face masks are also very hydrating to dry skin and leaves it softer and fresh looking.
How to make your mask:
Using the back of a fork, simply just mash up a banana and put it on your face–leave it on for 30 minutes & rinse off. Use your moisturizer after you pat dry your skin. If you are extremely sunburned, put on some Aloe Vera gel before your moisturizer.
An easy DIY homemade body scrub recipe. Use in the shower and apply on the body from the neck down. When finished, rinse with warm water. Store unused portion for up to a week in your refrigerator.
1 Tbsp honey
2 tsp almonds
1 mint leaf
Finely grind almonds in small food processor or coffee grinder. Finely chop mint. Squeeze juice from orange. Mix these, along with honey together.
4 tablespoons of ground coffee (fresh is the best)
3 tablespoons of corn meal (or ground oatmeal)
3 tablespoons of sea salt or Epsom salt
3 tablespoons of Olive or Almond oil
2 drops of lavender oil (for relaxation) or 2 drops of peppermint (for an energy boost)
Mix all the ingredients well
Scrub your feet in circular motion
Rinse off with warm water and pat dry
Finish off your foot care routine by giving yourself a relaxing foot massage with your favorite foot cream.
